Most Inspirational Person of the Week for July 18, 2016
Meet My Choice for July 18: Monna Ellithorpe.
I’ve known Monna Ellithorpe for awhile now. We are both bloggers and belong to a serious blogging community.
I was doing my daily marketing, which means visiting Google Plus (G+), Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn. It takes a lot of thought and focus to get the word out to all of these platforms. I mainly focus on Instagram and Pinterest. It doesn’t do you any good to try to master all of these platforms. I just make sure I make a daily appearance.
This particular day, I happened to be looking for tweets to retweet when I saw several being posted by Monna Ellithorpe. This is the one that caught my eye:
Now, I don’t spend much time on Twitter because the tweets just roll on by and a lot of it is marketing and business opportunities (at least in my Twitter feed). If you know me, I don’t believe in coincidence, I believe everything happens for a reason. This was an invitation by the Universe to go read Monna’s blog post.
I’m busy, and I know each of you are too, but I’ve been on this earth long enough to know when I’ve been prompted to go do something. I have learned to “just do it.” So, off I went to read Monna’s post. (Just click the image if you would like to go read it, too).
Now, Monna wrote a great post, but the next day, it was obvious to me why I was prompted to go read it. Her post revealed just how much she and I have in common. This, in turn, lead to me giving her a call!
That phone call was so inspirational! Monna is a great listener, has amazing insight, and we started brainstorming and talking about some of our personal and business goals. She also helped me to see something in my mindset that was holding me back a bit.
After this revealing conversation, I was back on track and I’ve been quickly moving forward ever since.

Hi Deborah,
You have created an awesome place here. Thank you so much for my photo and I feel so honored to have been chosen as your first Inspirational Person of the Week.
I am so happy that you did call me that day and yes we did find out how much we have in common.
Wishing you great success and I’m happy to share your site and your work with everyone.
Thank you, Monna, for being part of my “Create A Tsunami For Good Project!”
Just by being the person you are, you inspire so many! It’s easier to be selfish and not care for or about others, but you are not that kind of person! You gave me so much just in that one conversation. I’m still benefiting from it a couple of weeks later!
Keep being “YOU” and stay focused. Your dreams will be realized!

Yes, Monna is a very special person that I needed to highlight. She has selflessly helped me several times. I trust her opinion on things.
You, too, Erika! You are so inspiring and you point people in the right direction so that they stay on track for success and happiness. There are so many things to distract us both online and offline.
Thank you for sharing in my project, and keep inspiring!
